Who we are
714software LLC is a custom software development studio based in Garden Grove, Orange County, California. We design, build, and maintain software for businesses — and this website exists to explain what we do and help you decide whether to work with us.
These terms govern your use of this website. By using it, you agree to them.
Use of this website
You're welcome to browse the site, read our articles, use our tools, and contact us about a project. That's what it's for.
What you may not do: scrape or bulk-harvest the site's content, probe or interfere with its security or availability, submit spam or malicious content through our forms, or use the site in any way that breaks the law. We may block access from sources that abuse the site.
Website content
Everything on this site — including articles, guides, pricing ranges, and any estimates produced by our tools — is provided for general information only. It reflects our honest experience, but it is not a binding quote, and it is not legal, financial, or professional advice for your specific situation.
Actual project scope, pricing, and terms are established only in a signed agreement between you and 714software LLC. Until something is in writing and signed by both sides, nothing on this site commits either of us.
Client engagements
All project work is governed by an individually signed Statement of Work (SOW) and any master services agreement that accompanies it. Those documents define scope, deliverables, timelines, pricing, warranties, and everything else that matters in an engagement.
If anything on this website conflicts with a signed SOW, the SOW wins. Every time.
Intellectual property
The content of this website — text, design, graphics, and code — belongs to 714software LLC. You may not republish or commercially exploit it without our written permission. Quoting brief excerpts with attribution is fine.
Ownership of the software we build is defined in each project agreement. Our standard model is a subscription: 714software owns, hosts, and maintains the software that runs your business, while your business data remains yours and is exportable on request. The specifics are always in writing in the SOW you sign.
Example builds & outcomes
The example builds on this site are illustrative scenarios — anonymized, representative projects that show the kind of software we build, clearly labeled as such. The metrics shown are target outcomes such builds aim for, not a claimed track record of past engagements.
Every business is different. Results depend on your market, your operations, and decisions outside our control — so no outcome shown or discussed on this site is a promise of what your project will achieve.
Third-party links
This site may link to third-party websites and tools. We link to things we find useful, but we don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices. Visiting them is at your own discretion.
Disclaimer of warranties
This website is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We work to keep the site accurate and online, but we can't promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by California law, 714software LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this website — including lost profits or lost data — even if we've been advised such damages are possible.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. And to be clear: this section covers the website. Liability in client engagements is addressed separately, in each signed agreement.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from your use of this website will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California, and you consent to that venue.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll post the revised version here and update the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
